Aloha, My name is bryson

I grew up playing soccer and cross country skiing, but it wasn’t until later in life I realized the profound effect pushing myself physically had on my mental health. I grew up with a lot of anxiety and depressive thoughts and am acutely aware of how debilitating those symptoms can be…But the “Aloha Spirit” is a powerful thing.

My father was born in Kauai, Hawaii and I’ve spent many summers living on the Garden Isle, taking in the mana (a powerful energy that Native Hawaiians believe is an all living things). The Hawaiian positivity is contagious and I learned things like perseverance and community. I learned to find the strength to keep moving forward no matter what, and nothing makes me happier than using that Aloha Spirit to help my clients realize the mana within them.

My Approach

The underlying principle of my coaching philosophy is to foster confidence in your ability to improve yourself. I’m not your boss, I am your coach and a friendly, empathetic ear

Perfection is never the goal, feeling empowered in your ability to age gracefully and compete at a high level is. Everyone is aware of what they can’t do, I want to make you aware of what you’re capable of.

I’ve worked with kids as young as 5, collegiate athletes, and older adults well into their 90’s. Now, I have over 8 years of personal training experience and am well versed in Kettlebell Training, Strength and Conditioning, Sport Specific Training and enjoy working with the Average Joe. So if your goal is to build strength, get out of pain, lose weight, or just need a friendly kick in the pants, reach out!

Simple ideas

Most people don’t need to try every exercise from Instagram. My programming is sound and simple and designed to build your confidence through new movements and get results fast!

Lasting impact

Motivation usually comes after the action, not before. I’ll hold you accountable while also bringing you into the Shaka Community with aloha. I’m always accessible to clients; community means not going through things alone
